Add a Text Block to my 3D quiz

The Text Block option in our Quiz Builder is not actually a question type, but rather an option you can select if you would like to provide instructions at the beginning of your quiz or more context between questions.

Insert a Text Block into your 3D quiz

  1. Open your model or tour in the Quiz Builder.
  2. In the Quiz panel on the right, click Add New Question.
  3. Select Text Block from the drop-down menu.
  4. In the Question Text field, enter the instructions or context you would like to provide to your quiz takers.

Advanced options

You will find three additional options when you click the    Manage Question Settings Icon

  1. Label Display
  2. Next Question Button Text
  3. Custom Starting Position

Label Display

By default, labels created in Label mode are hidden in Quiz mode. Check Show chapter labels for this question to enable them and provide more context for learners.

Next Question Button Text

Change the text for the Next Question button. If left blank, the default label will be Next Question.

Custom Starting Position

Set a custom starting position for the model when this text block appears:

  1. Use your mouse, keyboard, or 3D controls to reposition the model as desired.
  2. When your model looks exactly how you want it to look when the learner enters this quiz question, click the CapturePosition button. This will save the current position as the new starting position.
