Experiment with our View Modes to customize and enhance your virtual exploration of the human body. You’ll find the following View Modes in the Edit Bar:
Standard Mode: All objects are visible.
How to use it: Click on an object to select it. The selected object will become highlighted in yellow. (Learn more about how to select objects here.)
X-Ray Mode: Use this tool to highlight a particular region or object while still showing its relation to surrounding anatomy. Anything not selected in this mode will become transparent, allowing you to see objects that are usually hidden.
How to use it: Click on an object to make it visible or opaque, while leaving the surrounding objects transparent. Or: select the object(s) first and then click X-Ray Mode.
Isolate Mode: This tool is great for focusing on a very specific region or anatomical object. Anything not selected in this mode will disappear entirely, allowing you to see only the selected object(s) in isolation.
How to use it: Click on an object to select it, and then click Isolate Mode. This will hide all of the surrounding objects. Note: You must select an object before going into Isolate Mode.
The Edit Bar also provides several advanced tools for customizing your models. See Customize a model to learn more.
