Want to bring the power of 3D interactive anatomy to your website?
Using our publishing tools, you can embed 3D models directly into your site in the form of the Human Viewer. The Viewer is a small application of the BioDigital Human that can be installed and executed, or “embedded,” within a webpage – no login needed.
There are two places in the web app where you can publish a model in Viewer format to use as a standalone resource or embed into your website*:
- Open My Library and find the saved model you want to publish.
- Select More Options
in the upper-right corner of the model's tile.
- Select Publish from the drop-down menu.
- In the Publish window, you can decide how your Viewer will be configured when it's embedded into your website. Here you can modify the following Viewer preferences:
- Size (i.e., width and height)
- Display Options (see Publish a 3D model: Display options for more details)
- Loading Experience (see Publish a 3D model: Loading experience options for more details)
- Click Copy Embed or Copy URL and paste into your website's HTML – that's it! (Need help deciding which format to choose?)
- Copy Embed* will copy your model as an iframe, which can be embedded into a webpage just like a YouTube video or image.
- Copy URL will copy your model as a standalone URL, which can be opened fullscreen in your browser.
- Once you've decided which model you'd like to embed, make sure it's saved to My Library.
- Find the model in My Library and open it in Human Studio.
- Click
in the lower-right corner of the page.
