Set up single sign-on (SSO) for my team

Feature availability

Single sign-on (SSO) allows members of your team to sign in to the BioDigital Human using your organization’s identity provider (IdP), such as Microsoft Entra or Okta, instead of a separate BioDigital password.

BioDigital currently supports SSO for select School and Business customers using the IdPs and authentication protocols listed below.

 

Before you begin

Before configuring SSO for your team, make sure:

  • Your BioDigital plan includes access to SSO.
  • Your organization uses one of the following supported IdPs and protocols:
    • Microsoft Entra (OIDC, SAML 2.0)
    • Okta (SAML 2.0)
    • Shibboleth (SAML 2.0)
    • OpenAthens (SAML 2.0)
  • An administrator is available to configure settings within your IdP.
  • This same administrator also has administrator access to your BioDigital Human team account. See About team member roles and permissions for more information.
