If you are an Administrator of a team, you can remove any member from your team—except yourself.*
Note: Only Administrators can remove team members. Learn more about team member roles and permissions here.
To remove a member from your team:
- Log in and click on the profile icon
in the upper-right corner of the page.
- Select Team from the drop-down menu.
- On the Team page, browse or search for the member(s) you would like to remove and follow the instructions below to start the process of removing them.
- To remove a single member at a time:
- Click on the three dots next to the right of member's role.
- Select Remove From Team from the drop-down menu.
- To remove multiple members at a time:
- Hold down the Shift key on your keyboard while clicking on each of the names of the team members you would like to remove.
- When you are finished making your selection, click [#] selected in the top menu.
- Select Remove From Team from the drop-down menu.
- To remove all members at once:
- Click Select All in the top menu.
- Select Remove From Team from the drop-down menu.
- Click [#] selected in the top menu.
- Select Remove From Team from the drop-down menu.
- To remove a single member at a time:
- A dialog will appear asking you what you would like to do with the user's saved models.
- Transfer ownership to a different team member (default): Ownership of the 3D models that the outgoing member originally created will be transferred to a different team member of your choosing. The outgoing member will no longer have access to these models.
- Make private and remove from team: The outgoing member will retain all models they previously created. The rest of the team will no longer have access to these models.
- If you selected option 2 in step 4 ("Make private and remove from team"), click Remove to complete the process.
- If you selected option 1 in step 4 ("Transfer ownership to a different team member"), you will be prompted to select the team member to whom the outgoing member's 3D models will be transferred. Select a new owner from the list of Creators and Administrators in your team (or feel free to select yourself), and click Transfer Content.
*Administrators are not permitted to remove themselves from their team. Only another Administrator from your team, or a member of the BioDigital team, can remove Administrators. If you are the only Administrator on your team and must leave your team, we recommend upgrading another team member to the Administrator role and then asking them to remove you and transfer your content to them. Learn more about team member roles and permissions here.
