Human Studio is a suite of authoring tools within the BioDigital Human web app that enables you to create customized views of any 3D model tailored to your specific educational goals. Whether you are labeling anatomical structures, creating a multi-chapter tour, or building an interactive quiz, Studio gives you the tools to turn any model into a meaningful visual-first learning experience.
You can open any model from Explore or My Library using any of the following methods. Select the tabs below to see the steps for each.

- Select the Studio tab in the top menu.
- Click either the Customize a Model or Open a Model button.
- Use Customize a Model to browse models from the BioDigital Library.
- Use Open a Model to browse models already saved by you and your team to My Library.
- Search, browse, and/or filter to find the model you want to customize.
- Click the model's thumbnail to select it, or click Quick View and then Select.
- Select the Studio tab in the top menu.

- Click the model's thumbnail to open it in 3D.

Click Customize in Studio in the upper-right corner.

- Hover over the model and click the three dots in the lower-right corner of its tile.
- Select Customize in Studio from the drop-down menu.
Tip: You can also click Quick View, then select Customize in Studio in the Quick View window.
Next steps
Now that you have opened your model in Studio, you can:
- Isolate specific anatomical structures
- Make specific anatomical structures unselectable
- Update your model’s starting position
- Add interactive labels to your model, or edit existing labels
- String together multiple models or views into a "tour"
- Apply paint and effects to specific structures in your model
- Revise your model’s titles and descriptions
- Add 2D images to your model's labels and/or chapter descriptions
- Change your model's background color
- Build a 3D quiz
