Important: As of May 1, 2026, we have updated how we offer free trials for our School and Business plans. While instant trial sign-ups are no longer available, you can still explore these plans by contacting our Sales team for a guided trial. Current trials will remain active through their original end date. Learn more.
If you created your own School & Business Free Trial in the BioDigital Human, you have the option to close your team at any time—whether your trial has already expired or is still active.
Closing your free trial team will delete your team from our system and automatically downgrade your account to our free Personal plan.
Notes:
- This option is only available to team members with the Administrator role.
- Free trials initiated by BioDigital or any of our partners cannot be closed without assistance from our Customer Experience team.
What happens when you close your free trial team
Once your free trial team is closed:
- Your account and all team members’ accounts will be downgraded to our free Personal plan. (See What subscriptions do you offer? for more information about this plan.)
- You and your team will lose access to team collections and content, unless you or your teammates are the owners of that content.
- Any content that you personally own, including content you have saved as Private and content you previously shared with the team will remain with your individual account.
- Other members of your team will be notified in the app (on the Account and Team pages) that the team was closed and their accounts were downgraded.
How to close your free trial team
Take the following steps to close your free trial team:
- Log in and click the profile icon in the upper-right corner of the page.
- Select Account from the drop-down menu.
- In the Subscription section, click the message that says, “Need to close your team or switch to a Personal Plus account?” to open additional information
- Click the Close Team button.
- Review the information provided in the dialog and make sure you are ready to proceed.
- Check the box next to "I confirm that I want to close my team."
- Click Close Team to complete the process.
Warning:
- If you have an active developer account, closing your free trial team will disable any associated apps.
- Once you close your free trial team, you will not be able to create another free trial using the same email address.
