Our October release introduces 16 new 3D models and tours and 10 upgraded tours, advancing understanding in some of the most complex areas of medicine. This update focuses on Cardiology—our most widely used specialty—along with new and refreshed models in Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) and Oncology.
Cardiology
This release introduces 13 new cardiology conditions, including an all-new suite of congenital heart defects, which are notoriously challenging to teach and learn using traditional materials alone. In these new models and tours, you can:
- Compare mechanisms of aortic wall damage in Penetrating Atherosclerotic Ulcer (PAU) Formation versus Aortic Dissection Formation.
- Examine two types of aneurysm: Iliac Artery Aneurysm and Thoracoabdominal Aortic Aneurysm.
- Visualize blood flow physiology and structural abnormalities side by side across multiple pathologic variations.
You can also explore the real-time transition from fetal to postnatal circulation in our new Neonatal Blood Flow model—an expert example of how to use content blocks, positions, and animated GIFs in Studio for focused, digestible learning.
In addition, 10 cardiology procedures have been visually refreshed with our latest lighting techniques and anatomy for enhanced clarity and realism.

Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT)
Our new animated Nasolaryngoscopy tour uses positions to capture the procedure from multiple perspectives and our layered anatomy technique to demonstrate relationships between internal and external structures.
Oncology
Our surgical collection within Oncology continues to grow with one new and one updated procedure tour:
- Laparoscopic Cystectomy: This new 7-chapter tour demonstrates a simplified version of this minimally invasive procedure to remove a cancerous bladder, including conduit construction and stoma creation.
- External Beam Radiation Therapy (EBRT) - Female: The clothing and radiation animation in this model have been updated to reflect a clearer, more realistic outpatient experience.
